Expand your teaching with Yogalates
80 hour online CPD training for qualified Yoga teachers
Develop the skills to confidently incorporate functional Pilates techniques into your yoga classes, helping your students improve their core stability, strength and posture
A unique fusion of East and West, Yogalates combines core-stabilising, posture-enhancing Pilates with enlivening & accessible yoga practices, improving strength, stamina, muscle tone and flexibility.
The method incorporates latest research into functional movement, back-care and therapeutic exercise, making it accessible for a wide range of ages and abilities. It can be of particular benefit to postnatal women and those suffering from back pain, due to its focus on posture, core strength and lumbo-pelvic stability.
The Yogalates approach supports the overcoming of pain and injury, incorporating resistance training to improve musculo-skeletal balance, neuromuscular feedback and spatial awareness.
“After training with Beth my Yogalates class has become the studio favorite. I have a wait list every week, and if someone cancelled their spot was quickly filled. I was nervous to start a new training, but I believe becoming certified in this awesome way of movement has made me the yoga teacher I am.”
Expand your teaching skillset
Learn how Yogalates is different to traditional yoga, and why your students need it.
Broaden your anatomy knowledge around the pelvic floor & core complex, spine, hips and shoulders to help your students practise safely and move with greater freedom and confidence.
Challenge your core with specific exercises to support your students’ long term health and mobility, thus increasing student retention.
Help your students develop greater awareness of postural habits and support them with positive changes so their yoga practice stays healing and doesn’t lead to injury.

Adding Yogalates to your yoga will not only enhance your knowledge of anatomy, it will provide you with a completely unique approach to better support your students’ joint health, core stability and muscle strength (and your own!)

Each week a new video will be released, allowing you work through the course material in your own time, whilst also learning at the same pace as the other participants.
Our weekly Wednesday/Thursday live Zoom sessions offer the space for you to ask questions and refine specific postures and exercises from that week’s Yogalates class, enabling you to practically integrate Pilates techniques into your yoga classes straight away. Scroll down for live call timetable.
You’ll be able to flex your teaching skills, ‘learn by doing’, and connect with other yoga teachers from around the world in small breakout rooms during these weekly get togethers. It’s great fun too! Furry friends welcome :)
There will be teaching practice challenges throughout the course, plus anatomy revision moments to help embed what you’ve learnt for years to come. There will also be a final online quiz to cement your learning, which you can take at your own pace.
Why Yoga teachers need Yogalates
Over the years I’ve noticed a lack of strength and stability work in many yoga classes.
The truth is, the physical postures of yoga (asana) were originally designed by men, for eastern male bodies.
BKS Iyengar had a very different physicality to the modern-day western yogini, not simply because of gender, but as a result of the culture in which he was raised.
Therefore, it’s perhaps understandable that injuries in the yoga world are common, often among hyper-mobile women. Also, as western practitioners, our posture and physicality is heavily influenced by our culture of sitting in chairs and spending a lot of time in cars or at a desk.
Training as a Yogalates teacher is about incorporating the best of East and West into one comprehensive practice that works in harmony with our 21st century bodies.
Yoga asana often prioritises flexibility and openness, so it’s vital for the safety and longevity of practice that we also begin to share with our students techniques and exercises that prioritise strength and engagement. Pilates techniques and resistance training can provide a wonderful complement to vinyasa and other expressions of yoga asana that, in many cases, lack engaged core and stability work.
Life is about balance after all!
What past graduates say...
“I highly recommend this course to any yoga teacher looking to up level their classes with more strength and stability work. I gained a multitude of exercises to include in my classes, the confidence to do this and the resources to revisit the learning points whenever I need to. Just the right balance of theory and practical application.”

Plus…
As mentioned above, each student will receive 1 x 75 minute Yogalates class every week (pre-recorded by Beth) during the course. It’s a requirement that you watch the video twice; once to practise the class as a student, and once more rewatching with a teacher’s eye, analysing and taking notes. This is an essential part of the course and requires self-discipline and organisation on the student’s part.
The time spent watching these pre-recorded Yogalates classes (2.5 hours per week) make up a valuable chunk of your course hours, and provide the basis of your experiential and theoretical learning.
The twelve classes will be released to you individually over the length of the course, so you can progress through the course material at a gentle pace, alongside your peers.
Each class will form the basis of the discussions in our weekly Wednesday/Thursday seminars.

“The opportunity to stop, and really look at aspects of my business (aspects I don’t always have time to focus on in detail) was a huge bonus to have alongside the training. As a result, I have been working on updating my website and will soon be able to launch a fresh site, incorporating many of the elements Beth addressed.”
“What a brilliant course! I have learnt so much about Pilates, as well as more anatomy and teaching methodology to enrich my existing yoga classes, workshops and retreats. Before completing the course, I had already been offered two new classes at one of my regular studios, and in discussions about more.”
“My new Yogalates qualification has been a game changer for me. I am running 2 Yogalates classes a week, which are both full and popular, with great feedback. They particularly like the weights and band work! Most of all it has given me the confidence to teach my way and be a little different.”
“Without a shadow of a doubt, this is the best CPD training I’ve done. I’m now teaching three Yogalates classes per week, all of which are full classes that appeal to both yoga and pilates clients. Out of every CPD I’ve done, it’s been the most fulfilling in terms of my own personal development as a student, whilst also enabling me to build my client base and offer additional classes that are accessible to everyone. I cannot recommend enough.”
Meet your teacher
My name is Beth and I am London's leading teacher in Solomon Yogalates.
I trained with Louise Solomon (founder of Yogalates) in 2014, receiving a 500 hour qualification in this official blend of Yoga and Pilates. In 2016 I gained my advanced 500 hour Hatha yoga teacher qualification on the foothills of the Himalayas in India, and since then have continued to expand my skillset, learning from esteemed teachers such as Norman Blair, Tiffany Cruikshank, Leslie Kaminoff and Bernie Clark, to name a few.
I am passionate about helping students improve their posture, breathing, strength, flexibility and overall wellbeing through Yogalates.
My belief is that Pilates and resistance training can be of huge benefit to yoga students keen to maintain healthy mobility and a sustainable practice in the long term.
My goal is to share this message with yoga teachers around the world.
