Solomon Yogalates is the official, award-winning blend of Hatha Yoga and Pilates, toning and strengthening, building stamina and flexibility and establishing much needed balance in body, mind and breath.

You can pay as you go, subject to availability. A single 90 minute class is £15.

Classes are well-paced with an alignment focus so rest assured you are in good hands.  Everyone is encouraged to progress at their own pace.  Beginners are welcome and more challenging work is offered to those who'd like to advance their practice. I offer modifications and alternatives for those who need it and encourage you to develop a deep sense of awareness of your own practice on the mat.

Yogalates combines a wonderful mix of challenging hard work and deep relaxation and appeals to a wide range of ages, body types and abilities.  Yogalates can also be a particularly effective therapeutics-based exercise system for post-natal women due to its emphasis on core stability and correct spinal and pelvic alignment.  

Students will need to provide their own mat, however if you are a beginner or are just trying a class a mat can be provided for you temporarily.  All other Yogalates equipment is provided.

Breathing exercises are integral to what I teach; calming the mind and soothing the nervous system, preparing the body for a restorative guided relaxation at the end of every class.

Yogalates for back pain

As a therapeutics-based exercise system, Yogalates can be a great relief for post-natal mums and those suffering from back pain, due its focus on healthy diaphragmatic breathing, the 'neutral spine' concept and overall joint mobility, not to mention a Pilates inspired emphasis on core stability.  All these factors combined can help contribute to a healthy spine, improved posture and greater mobility.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

My name is Beth and I am London's leading specialist in the award-winning Solomon Yogalates Method. My teacher training has taken me all over the world, from the Tuscan hills to the foothills of the Himalayas, and beyond! 

My personal practice and teaching skillset are constantly evolving as I continue to travel and learn from renowned yoga and Pilates teachers around the world, who share my enthusiasm for considering each student’s needs on an individual, 'one to one' basis.
